Peanut butter sandwich cookies are chopped and sprinkled with peanuts, then drizzled with melted candy coating and topped with candy corn for this treat.
Roughly chop cookies into chunks and spread on a greased, foil-lined baking pan. Sprinkle peanuts over cookies. Place white chocolate pieces in a medium-sized microwave-safe bowl. Microwave for 1 minute on High; stir and continue heating, stirring every 30 seconds or so, until melted and smooth. Drizzle the melted mixture over cookies and peanuts; sprinkle with candy corn, pressing gently to adhere, if necessary. Cool until firm; break into pieces to serve.
Notes:
Not only is this sinfully delicious, it's also colorful and fun to make. Kids can help break up the cookies, drizzle chocolate (once melted by an adult) and toss on the candy corn, as well as breaking-up the cooled treats into serving sizes.
Spooky Sundaes can be made with scoops of ice cream covered with fudge sauce and stuck all around with pieces of Spooky Snack.
