Method

Divide ground chuck into 12 patties and shape to fit the size of the buns. Season with salt and fry until done, turning once. While the burgers are cooking place the curly fries on a baking sheet and prepare as instructed on the package. Slice buns open and place the burger on the bottom half. Place the buns on a small white paper plate. Slice a piece of cheese into 6 strips and lay across the burger, overlapping each other (to resemble a spider or octopus). Cover with the bun top. Cut one curly fry in half and run a toothpick thru each half. Arrange on bun top like antennas or ears. Lay 2 or 3 olive slices on bun to look like eyes. Cut the other curly fry in half and place under sides of the bun to look like arms. Garnish plate with ketchup to look like blood.

Notes: These are so adorable and my grandchildren loved them. They also make a nice little lunch with just the right size burger for children or a good appetizer for adults.

Number of Servings: 12
