Gingered Pumpkin Bread

Candied ginger comes together with cinnamon, cloves and allspice to add the perfect blend of flavors to this pumpkin bread.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
- 1/4 cup quick rolled oats
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1/4 teaspoon ground allspice
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup soft butter
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup cooked pumpkin puree
- 1/3 cup milk
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
- 1/4 cup finely chopped candied ginger

Method
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour a 9 X 5 loaf pan. Mix all dry ingredients together in a large bowl. Cream sugars and butter, add eggs, then mix until smooth. Stir in pumpkin, milk and vanilla, then mix until well blended. Add flour mixture slowly mixing until just blended. Stir in walnuts and ginger then pour into a greased and floured loaf pan. Bake 50-60 minutes until bread tests done.
