Ghosts in a Haystack

This candy can be altered for many holidays. Adding holiday candy instead of marshmallows, pieces of dried fruit or nuts can really specialize these.
 

Ingredients

  • 1 large package chow mein noodles
  • 1 1/2 cups butterscotch morsels
  • 1/2 cup chunky peanut butter
  • 2 cups miniature marshmallows

Method

In a microwaveable bowl, melt butterscotch morsels and peanut butter, at 30 second intervals. Stir in between intervals to determine level of melting. When completely melted, add to a bowl with chow mein noodles. Stir a little, add marshmallows, and mix quickly. Drop by spoonfuls, stacking mixture high. Let dry and set about 1 hour.
