- Servings: 8
Ingredients:
| 2 | Apples of Different Colors, red, green or yellow |
| 1 cup | Orange Juice |
| 8 oz | Honey Nut Cream Cheese Spread, softened |
| 1 tsp | Almond Extract |
| 2 Tbsp | Honey |
| 2 | or 3 Tablespoons Brown Sugar |
| 1 cup | Salted Peanuts, coarsely chopped |
Directions:
Wash, core and slice apples. Pour orange juice in a gallon zip-lock bag; add apple slices; shake to coat well. (This will help prevent apples from turning brown.)
Remove and drain apples on a wire rack.
Mix together remaining ingredients. Put cream cheese mixture in a pretty bowl.
Add apple slices to surround the cream cheese dip.
Helpful Tips:
We had an abundance of apples where I grew up in Upstate New York. I have been making this dip for years and we just love it. My daughter-in-law called to ask for the recipe after I fixed it while we were camping; that's how quick and easy it is.
